Méribel is located in the Tarentaise Valley in the Northern French Alps. It is composed of 3 neighbouring villages – Méribel Centre, Méribel-Mottaret and Méribel Village. The resort is build in a traditional style with many chalets. It’s a high altitude paradise with slopes reaching as high as 2950m and is also well known for its great Après ski – with many local bars being must visits.
The ski domain
The resort lies in the heart of the Three valleys – the worlds largest ski domain. The 3 valleys is suitable for skiers of all abilities, its a haven for winter sports enthusiasts. In total there is 600km of slopes for alpine skiers and 120km of paths for cross country skiers. 85% of the slopes in the domain are above 1800m guaranteeing snow from the start of December until the end of April.
