Avoriaz is a very dynamic resort, catering to the needs of every skier. It is a perfect destination for intermediate skiers – with predominately red and blue slopes. It’s also one of the best places in Europe for snowboarders, being the self proclaimed capital of snowboarding. The high altitude ski domain guarantees snow throughout the season and gives you the opportunity to enjoy some fantastic scenery…you can enjoy sights such as Lake Leman, les Dents du Midi and the breathtaking Mont Blanc.

Plenty of Snow

Avoriaz has an average of 8 meters of snow per winter and currently has 125cm of snow in the resort (situated at 1800m) and 186cm at the top of the mountains (at around 2460m). It is located in the heart of the Portes du Soleil domain – offering you the chance to ski in France or Switzerland, with 650km to choose from.
